The Danger of Religion to Self-Ownership

Self-Ownership is a libertarian ideal in which individuals own their minds and bodies and as such have certain rights over their lives, liberty and fruits of their labor. Critics are justified in their criticism that true libertarianism leads to anarchy and so this blog does not support a full libertarianism. What this article aims to do is examine the thesis that self-ownership and its benefits to freedom of thought cannot even begin so long as one holds onto theistic beliefs.
